This series consists of originals and copies of plans referred to by the Department of Lands as the "CP" (Compiled Plans) series. The plans, vary from sketches to published maps with varied information included - in most instances the compiled plans include the scale and the location; and in some cases the name of the certified surveyor, a unique Plan ID number and if they are certified for title. For a survey map to be certified for title, it must have been prepared in accordance with all legal requirements required to gain title including information about boundaries, lot numbers, roads, area /locality and any corresponding file.
